10/10 Post game thoughts.

Sorry these are late, but yesterday was my birthday and I had a movie to watch and dinner to eat with my wife and kids. Some things just take precedence. Besides, there isn't a lot to say after that performance on Sunday. In case you didn't hear, the Rampage lost to the Texas Krahns, 3-0.

-Climie kept the game closer than it probably should have been. He made save after save after save all game long until the bounces finally went against him late in the 3rd.

-The second goal was a direct result of the Rampage trying to make something, anything, happen offensively. It happens.

-The top line of Tikhonov/Stapleton/Boedker needs to step it up a bit. 2 pts through 2 games from these guys isn't cutting it.

-Is Krahn seriously not good enough to backup in Dallas? I find that hard to believe.

-In this bloggers opinion, Brodeur is the odd man out when Goncharov gets to town. And it's not so much that he is playing poorly, but Stafford, Yonkman, Ahnelov aren't going anywhere and Stone, Summers, and May are playing well.

-David Brine is out with a broken hand/finger. Alex Picard is out with an undisclosed upper body injury. Watkins, Weston, and Ross all out with undisclosed injuries. Will be at practice tomorrow and update what I can.

In other news, the team signed Matt Pope, formerly with the Manitoba Moose, to a PTO before Sunday's game. Most likely a depth move until the team gets out from under all these injuries.

3 games in 3 nights coming up this weekend against 3 very good teams, including a visit to Cedar Park on Saturday. Should be a hell of a test this weekend.

See you at the rink and LET'S GO RAMPAGE!!!

  1. We also put two off the post... That would have really changed the dynamic of the game
