The Rampage head to Cedar Park to take on the Texas Stars tonight after defeating Houston last night 5-3. (Boxscore)

The Rampage have now won a franchise tying best 7th straight game last night. Adding to milestones on the night, Brett MacLean scored his 60th career goal in a Rampage uniform, tying Joel Perrault for the all time franchise lead. The Rampage enjoyed multi-point nights from Oliver Ekmann-Larson (3 assists), Tim Stapleton (1G and 1A), and MacLean who added an assist to go along with his 9th goal of the season. Al Montoya won his 4th straight game in net. The Rampage are now back atop the AHL standings with 31 points.

Tonight, the Rampage will be adding NHL veteran Petr Prucha to the lineup after he cleared waivers from Phoenix and was assigned to San Antonio. Prucha, a 30 goal scorer while with the NY Rangers in 2006, adds another dangerous weapon to an already deep squad.

I wrote yesterday about the veteran status situation with the Rampage. With the addition of Prucha, that situation gets even more murky. Before his addition, a decision wouldn't have to be made until Alex Picard comes back from his injury. Tonight, the coaches are going to have to sit someone who has been contributing. Tough call for the coaches and I don't envy them.

The game tonight should be a good one as these teams rarely play boring games against each other. Also, the Rampage are 0-1-1 vs the Stars this season so a little revenge should be in order. A big group of Rampage fans are heading up to the game tonight. Get loud guys. I'll be there in spirit!

Tomorrow, I will have a little tidbit on some of the prospects playing in Las Vegas thanks to good friend, Keith Burgdoff, who holds season tickets for the Ontario Reign and will be in attendance as the Wranglers visit. Look for a couple notes about Nick Ross, Matthieu Brodeur, and Ned Lukacevic.

Tomorrow the Rampage return home to face Milwaukee. The Cowboys don't play, there is no reason we don't get over 5k in that building. Spread the word. Let's get the place rocking and show our appreciation. See you at the rink and LET'S GO RAMPAGE!!!
