Let me introduce the man behind the goalie mask. I am a lifelong hockey fan. I've been cheering on the Red Wings since the "Dead Wings" era, or the early 80's for you young'ns. However, recently I have started a torrid love affair with the local AHL affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes. I will be going into my 4th year as a full season ticket holder. And although, my mistress has been a bit frumpy and abusive in recent years, I feel a makeover and rebirth is happening before my eyes. (More to come...)///// I am a passionate fan, that has been known to drop entirely too many obscenities on dollar nights and maybe even punch a chair or two after an OT loss scored on our own goal by a bumbling veteran defenseman. (I'm looking at you Shaun) I do think I have a pretty good base knowledge of hockey strategies and skillsets. With that said, if you ever disagree with one of my rants or observations, I encourage you to comment and let me know how big of an idiot I am. I am always open to new perspectives, and you never know, it could lead to continued discussion over an ice cold Shiner Bock in the Saddles and Spurs Club bar at intermission./////

Within the next couple of days, I will run a preview of the players I expect to be donning the Silver and Black. Tonight, I hope to have Goalies and Defensemen up. So stay tuned Rampage fans, this could be an interesting and fun season.
