The Rampage begin their first multi-game trip of the season tonight in Rockford as they take on the IceHogs for the first of three road games in 4 days in the state of Illinois. The IceHogs defeated Charlotte 5-4 on Sunday after losing their first four contests. They are led by a couple of very good NHL prospects in Marcus Kruger at forward and Nick Leddy on defense. In goal, Carter Hutton has put up very good numbers despite an 0-3-0-1 record, including recording a shutout in the opening game vs. Chicago only to see his team lose in the shootout.

The Rampage are coming off a 1-0 home win over Milwaukee on Saturday night. Dov Grumet-Morris was fanatastic in net again and the defense rebounded from a pretty terrible game on Friday vs OKC to play a solid and systemic game vs. the Admirals. With the offense in a perpetual rut through four games, they will need to be good again this weekend.

News and Notes
 - Josh McFadden and Jonathan Hazen were reassigned to ECHL Cincinnati on Tuesday. In a corresponding move, Brian O'Hanley, who was in camp for the Rampage, was recalled. Hazen was a healthy scratch after playing the first three games and being a complete non-factor. McFadden alternated games with fellow rookie John Lee.

- Mike Caruso hopes to be ready to play this weekend, but no word so far if he will be able to go. O'Hanley getting called up could either mean he's not ready, or the Rampage would like a spare body just in case he isn't ready.

- O'Hanley comes to the Rampage after scoring 2-2-4 in three games and was the runner up for Player of the Week in the ECHL.

The Rampage will travel to Chicago for a Saturday night tilt with the Wolves before returning to Rockford on Sunday for a rematch with the Hogs. The next Rampage home game is next Friday vs. the Grand Rapids Griffins. (editors note: they also ooze talent)
