The Rampage are now 10-10-0-1 on the season and currently sit tied for 10th at 21 points.
San Antonio Rampage “Three Stars of the Week” for the week ending December 1st:

1st Star: Jacob Markstrom (2GP 1-1-0 1.94GAA .934 Save%)
Markstrom had another very good week despite taking the loss on Saturday night. For the week, Markstrom stopped 57 of 61 shots seen, plus all five in the aforementioned shootout. Jacob was locked in Friday night keeping the Barons off the scoreboard in the OT despite several very good chances for the Barons.

2nd Star: Jared Gomes (2GP 0G-1A-1pt 4 SOG +2)
Gomes was very good again this week despite the numbers. His hard work set up Butler for the Rampage’s first goal on Friday and he scored the lone goal in the shootout, beating Labarbera with a quick wrister stick side. Gomes also continued his good defensive play and had a good week in the faceoff circle.

3rd Star: Dennis Urban (2GP 0G-2A-2pts 12 SOG +1)
Urban has quietly turned into a legit offensive threat for the Rampage. He’ll never be big enough, but the kid can skate like no other D-man on the roster and he isn’t embarrassing himself defensively. Urban pumped an impressive 11 shots on goal Friday night and assisted on both Rampage goals, including Jon Matsumoto’s go-ahead power play tally in the third.
Honorable Mention: Bobby Butler (2GP 1G-1A-2Pts 10 SOG +1)
Butler continues his good offensive play this week scoring a goal Friday and adding an assist on the lone Rampage goal Saturday. Butler has relay upped his game lately and is quickly becoming a dependable offensive weapon.

News and Notes:
- Josh McFadden and Wade Megan were both re-assigned to Cincinnati today. The Rampage were already scratching 4 healthy players, so this move is long overdue, in my opinion.
- Tomas Kopecky is skating and could come off the IR in Florida soon. If/when this happens, the Panthers will need to make a corresponding roster move. Mike Mottau has been a healthy scratch and is a candidate to come down. Matt Gilroy is another option if the Panthers decide not to muddy up the already unclear vet situation in San Antonio.
