Hockey is back!

Tonight, the Phoenix Coyotes battle the Anaheim Ducks in the first preseason matchup of 2010. In the lineup for the Yotes, along with some Phoenix regulars, are former Rampage players (and some very likely returnees) Matt Beaudoin, Mikkel Boedker, Josh Lunden, Brett MacLean, Alexandre Picard, Viktor Tikhonov, Kyle Turris, David Schlemko, and Chris Summers. Joining the former Alamo City AHL'ers are newcomers to the organization, Andrew Ebbett, Bracken Kearns, Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Max Goncharov, Nolan Yonkman, and Matt Climie. The Rampage, both past and future, will be well represented tonight against the Ducks.

Some other familiar faces will be facing off against the Coyotes tonight. Due to a split affiliation last season, Rampage fans may remember such names as Matt Beleskey, Dan Sexton, and especially MacGregor Sharp who, for no reason whatsoever, would always solicit some sort of William Wallace battle cry from yours truly whenever he did something special.

The game starts at 9pm Central time and can be streamed on the Ducks website.

Good luck to all the players tonight and for the rest of the preseason. Here's hoping they can stay healthy and hopefully win a gig with the big boys in the desert.

  1. so glad I checked your blog... I was hoping to see the game on NHL network but they aren't showing a coyotes game until the 28th... Thanks for the heads up about the Ducks website streaming it. Keep up the good work
