The Rampage welcomed two of their best players back last night in style, overcoming an early 3 goal deficit to defeat the Milwaukee Admirals 7-5. Alex Picard, in his first game since Jan 2nd, and Mathieu Beaudoin, in his first game since Dec 10th, both scored a goal and added 3 assists. Also picking up multiple point nights were Andrew Ebbett (3 assists), Bracken Kearns (1G-1A), Matt Watkins (1G-1A), and Nick Ross (2A). Ryan Hollweg, Michael Stone, and Ned Lukacevic also scored for the Rampage. Al Montoya, who came in late in the first after starter Matt Climie gave up his 3rd goal in 18 minutes, picked up the win stopping 18 of 20 shots faced. (BOX)
This was a huge win for this team. Especially after falling behind 3-0 early. They fought back and never quit. Montoya played very good down the stretch and the offense was just buzzing. Amazing what getting back two players can do for a team.
Tonight, the Rampage look to avenge a tough 2-1 loss at the hands of the Hogs on Monday afternoon. Would be nice to get another win before heading to dreaded Cedar Park for Monday night's game against the hated Stars.
Until Monday, LET'S GO RAMPAGE!!!
