Today's gameday thread will apply to both tonight and tomorrow's contests.

The Rampage, coming off a frustrating 2-0 loss to Oklahoma City, travel across the border  to take on the 1st place Manitoba Moose for two games. Barons goaltender Martin Gerber was once again on top of his game against the Rampage and held them scoreless on 33 shots, including 13 in the final 20 minutes. The game was played in front of about 300 fans as the Barons "School Day" game was foiled by 6-12 inches of snow and closed schools across the city.

As seen on this blog and pretty much every other hockey related site, the Coyotes traded Al Montoya to the Islanders on Wednesday night. This means Joe Fallon has been recalled from Las Vegas and will serve as Matt Climie's backup the rest of the way. I also expect to see newly signed Randy Robitaille to see some game action this weekend. He hasn't played in a game all season, so it will take some time to get his game legs under him. He did skate after the game Wednesday in OKC and surely has been spending a lot of time with Rampage assistant coach Brian Pellerin after practices.

Good luck to the guys tonight and tomorrow. These 2 games will be physical, hard fought affairs. Here's to 2 points minimum, and more importantly, a healthy team returning to San Antonio on Sunday. Until next time, see you at the practice rink and LETS GO RAMPAGE!!!
